Hello parents, we are nearing the hundredth day of school. This is always a big day in 1st grade. The date is Monday February 11th. This year I am requiring a hundredth day of school project. It will count as a quiz grade. The child will need to bring in a hundred of any item and explain the significance of the item. This will entail a spoken part in class on the day of the celebration. Also, it will include a written response at home. The response only needs to be 3-4 sentences. The written response worksheet is attached.
Thank you,
Thomas Donatone
Examples of questions that can be answered in the written/spoken response.
-Why is the item significant to you?
-Did you skip count with the item?
-How did you count the item?
-Did you count by 1s, 5s, or 10s?
-What do you do with this item?
-Where did you find this item?
